As we prepare for KYnamics’ 9th Annual Line Dance Festival, Workshop & Fundraiser on August 22,

I’m proud to share that this year our fundraising efforts will once again be in support of

the CMHA Waterloo Wellington & YWHO Wellington-Guelph association.

Why mental health?

Because part of the reason KYnamics exists today comes from my own journey.

Yes, there was a time in my life when I was fighting a quiet battle while I struggled with the challenges of Mental health.

During that difficult chapter, music and dancing became an important part of finding my way out, my way forward.

~Gave me a reason to move~
~Something to look forward to~
~A way to connect with others~
~And, little by little, a way to feel like myself again~

That experience helped shape what KYnamics would eventually become.

From the beginning, my vision has been about more than teaching dance.

It has been about encouraging people to keep moving, stay active,

connect with others and experience the positive impact that music and dancing can

have on our physical and mental well-being.

So this August, we are dancing for something very close to my heart. 💙

Our Every Step Matters fundraiser officially opens August 1 and continues through our Line Dance Festival on August 22.

Whether you are attending the festival or cheering us on from somewhere else, you can be part of it.
